Zdenka Arko started her own brand of dancewear back in 1985. However she had been accumulating experience in dress design and dressmaking for a long time before this.

It was during her competitive dance career that Zdenka began designing her own dresses. They attracted a great deal of attention and were noted for their style and flare. She soon turned to the new challenge of designing dresses for other dancers as well.

Being based in London, the heart of Dancesport dancing, Zdenka has had the opportunity to design dresses for many top class professional Standard and Latin American dancers from around the world. She is proud to design dresses for a number of World Championships finalists as well as the World Professional Champions in both Standard and Latin American dance.

The company now employs a dedicated team of skilled designers, pattern cutters and dressmakers, but Zdenka remains fully involved, bringing her expertise to bear at every stage of the design process.
